Answer me these questions three

Recent observations in social trends and the attitudes people I meet have led me to pose these three open questions to those floating about aimlessly in cyberspace:

Why do people not ensure that they always have prepair airtime on their cellphone?
Why is liberalism necessarily "good" and conservatism is necessarily "bad"?
What are the fundamental teachings of the growing "It's Complicated" religion?

I ask the last one not because I wish to convert, but because I would like to be able to partake in, say, casual dinnertime conversations about it.

I could tell you the reason why I have "It's complicated" on my own Facebook profile, but I would jolly well not want to expound on it in any casual dinner party conversation, for the very reason that it really IS complicated. (And not casual.)

Answer to the cellphone question: I don't know about other people, but one of my friends "earns" only R750 per month (from a disability pension), and her medication costs more than that. I am the one who pays for her airtime (and hospitalisation, and additional medication, and so on). If she runs out of airtime, and I don't immediately respond to a 'Please Call Me', she simply has to stay in that state until I "rescue" her.
